Glamour bondage by Uncle M

Before I get into the reasons why this weeks member update will be late, let me go into some detail what and who is involved in creating a first rate photo-set.  The who is a small crew of dedicated and talented kinkster’s that are involved with Brandibondage because they want to be.  We all enjoy seeing pretty women tied up or in the case of Brandi and friends, enjoy being tied up.  Got to love ‘em!

Everyone of us has has a career outside of Brandibondage that pays our bills.  If you think that running a bondage web site is a licence to print money think again.  Our members are precious to us and we are committed to keeping each and every one of you as happy and satisfied as humanly possible.  Now please allow me to enlighten you to the “what” as what is involved in getting those yummy, erotic, sensual, eye popping bondage photo-sets up.  

Lets talk person hours here or for ease of writing, “man” hours.  All estimates are minimum.  Typically we will have four people at any one shoot, the photographer, model, safety/helper and of course yours truly the rigger.  A shoot takes us six hours from start to finish so at the end of the day we have 4 people x 6 hours each or 24 man hours invested so far.

Our very talented photographer (more on them later) happily toddles away with 200+ delicious shots of an expertly bound female that has been smiling into the camera all day long.  Four hours of computer time later the photos are all cleaned up, branded and ready for step two.  28 hours so far.

The photographer and Uncle M then meet, usually over lunch and an exchange takes place.  I hand over money and in return am presented with a CD full of pictures.  Of course during the course of our meal the discussion is about the shoot, ideas for upcoming shoots and bondage in general.  We get some interesting looks let me tell you.  All part of the fun I say!

I now spend another 4 hours organizing the shoot into manageable sets (usually 4-5), number each photo as per our system, re-size each photo twice, once size for the store and one size for member downloading, write a small story on each set and finally package them up and upload each set to the FTP server.  32 hours so far.

Webmoster now takes over and spends an hour on each set putting them where they need to be on the server, creating the montage, loading each set into the photo gallery and linking it all up.  Four photo-sets = 4 hours.  36 hours.  This is a minimum and the real time involved would be closer to 40 + hours per complete set. 

Now as you may or may not have read, we have moved everything over to a brand spanking new server and this included the FTP server where I upload.  The FTP just came on-line and works like a charm.  The move however put me a tad behind in up-loading.  Yes I’m the bottle neck.  There, I admitted it so lets move on shall we?  Add to that I’m out of the country on holidays for the month of November so I’m a little slammed for time in getting my life in order at the moment.  The cherry on top of all this is that I am well into processing in the order of 850 new bondage photos.  WOOoooHOOoooo!!

How we have grown in the past year.  From a set consisting of 15-20 pictures to sets averaging over 40 today.  Double the pleasure!  Living the dream, living the dream. 

Fear not, we will not cheat you and skip a week of updates.  No sireeeee.  Full value just one update a tad late is all.  FYI I have the keys to the video section now and am going to try my hand at loading up some smokin’ hot clips this weekend.  Stay tuned!
