Being Hogtied ~ Part 3 of 3
After the model is tied, the photography begins. As the photographer moves around slowly, shooting and experimenting from one angle to the next to achieve different looks, it is the model’s job to contort and struggle, sometimes hiding her face and exposing it at other times. As the model struggles, at every bend or pull she makes, the rope cinches tightly and rubs against both itself and the model’s skin. At every reach the model makes, the rope gives only slightly, but seems to pinch back twofold when the muscles are relaxed again. The model may try to wriggle some part of herself out of the tightly-bound ropes, such as her wrists (especially if her wrists are small enough like mine) or her toes, or even try to pick at the knots tied close enough to her hands and feet, but usually this is either just in vain, or it’s just more fun to pick at a knot that is never going to untie without some sort of outside help, and have something to do besides just plain struggling during the photographs. So far, the most I’ve managed to do is start untying a rope that was binding my ankles to my back (I think, since I can’t actually see my back very well when I’m hogtied) only to find that it actually leads nowhere as there was another knot that I could not reach further down the length of the rope. Uncle M is just good at leaving me something to play with so that I think I might be getting somewhere…(pout)
After the photographer’s done taking the shots, the video camera goes on, and the set becomes quiet, except for any miscellaneous sounds emitted by the model herself. During the filming, the model’s struggle against the restraints of the rope continues. For the hogtie, I’ve found some of the most effective (and by effective, I mean it looks good and realistic in the video) are turning from side to side if you’re energetic enough, especially if you are also trying to reach for something; bending your knees as far to your buttocks as you can to see if you can grasp a knot or something to play with and try to untie; wriggling your hands to see if you can maybe slip them out or at least loosen the ropes around your wrists; and just generally trying to move off whatever surface you are tied on (provided you are not a couple of feet above the ground on said surface) by pushing your knees into the surface and attempting to move your torso forward.
After the video, it’s time for the untying. As Uncle M never undoes his ropes, one of the helpers usually is the one to untie the helpless model. As each rope is unwrapped, the crinkled and creased skin underneath is exposed, and muscles can finally be stretched out and relaxed. Cuddling at this point is also very important, as a model does get tired out from all the struggling and wriggling around. As circulation slowly returns to its normal speed to the extremities of the model, don’t be surprised if your model decides it’s time for a nap!

The intricacies of a hog tie are indeed sometimes something left to be desired depending on the person tying the knots. But the ones I see in the pictures and the videos keep myself practicing for that perfect immobile position that leaves someone wanting more. Especially toying with someone when they think they have won over a situation only to find they are indeed helpless to the rope. Such delicious fun to be had, Thank you Anna for the nice essay it was in depth and looked like so much fun. Thanks to Uncle M and Tristan as well for the photos and lovely knots i do so enjoy.
