Toe Ties
One lesson I have learned from working on a few shoots where my toes were tied with thin rope – never leave stockings on for toe ties, as nylons just persuade the rope off any fleshy surface oh so well. There was this one time where I was tied with my calves perpendicular to a wooden plank and to a metal pole, and a thin, white rope was wrapped intricately around my big toes. Within the first two minutes of the shoot, with my somewhat forced struggling (this tie was a hog tie, which always persuades me to relax and somewhat fall comatose), the thin rope had half-slipped off my toes, and I was forced to shove the rope as best as I could into the bottom of my toes, where they connected with the rest of my foot, so that the camera could catch the rope tie around my toes. Thinking that it was merely not tight enough, I requested that Uncle M redo the tightness of the toe tie, and that he slip them over the bulge of my toes to keep them in place as best as we could. Another two minutes, and the ropes had slipped halfway again. Uncle M was slightly frustrated by this, and he tied my toes yet again. This time, I made sure to not wriggle my toes at all while the camera was flashing. The rope still slipped easily. In hindsight, we now know that nylons do make the ropes slip very easily, and have refrained from toe tying over nylons, at least when me and my wriggly toes are involved. Toe ties are perhaps one of the most ignored part of any bondage. Toe ties are very much overlooked because in terms of the practicality side of bondage, a toe tie really doesn’t serve too much purpose outside of esthetics compared to other parts of bondage. In all, the toes are very much the last part people actually think about when it comes to bondage. However, I find that toe ties are very appealing indeed. Think about it this way – toe ties are the perfect finish to a perfect piece of bondage art. Toes are the most ignored and overlooked body part when it comes to bondage, and therefore a toe tie is the best proof of a bondage artist’s eye for glamour and perfection. It is the ultimate statement that says “hey, we are so detailed and take so much care in wrapping rope around a model that we don’t even overlook the smaller, less significant parts of the model.”
Toe ties are also a interesting way to draw attention to a bigger and better known fetish – the foot fetish. The detailing of rope around toes draw a lot of attention to the golden lotus, especially when the foot is well-shaped and lovely as a flower. Many websites portray foot fetish in terms of fetish shoes a mile high or in a overly-dramatic shape, but toe ties, such as those that Brandibondage features, pleases the foot fetishist by staging the barely-covered foot in the photographs.

When Anna was talking about her experience with toe ties, she was already bound up so tight and secure in her mind the addition of cord to her toes was academic to say the least.
However I do have to agree with you that toe bondage can be very useful and delightful to watch when her feet are her only hope of escape. Nice clips by the way. 
I have not had my toes tied…yet!
I have extremely ticklish feet; and as such the bottom of my feet are a “no go” zone. With the respect and trust that I have for Uncle M however, I would be delighted if he saw fit to tie my toes one day…a quick flash of my trademark smile should do the trick!

I’ve never done a shoot where the lady’s toes weren’t tied (not that I’ve done many shoots, or worked with more than a few ladies). Of course, all of my toe-ties are “real,” in that they’re not just there for show. I find the look of a lady struggling to get her feet and toes loose quite appealing.
Of course, I disagree that “a toe tie really doesn’t serve too much purpose outside of esthetics.” Check out some of videos of Mara that I’ve shot (http://www.clips4sale.com/store/14286) — Her hands are in leather mittens and there’s tape over her mouth. If she’s going to try to interact with the real world at all she’s got no choice but to work with her feet and toes, and they’re tied up with shoelaces. Watch how difficult it is for her to even pick up a phone! And it’s quite a bit harder to hop around when your toes are tied.
Mara and I do a lot of bondage for fun. She’s told me more than once that, when she’s fully bound, just managing to get her toes loose give her a real sense of accomplishment. I know that it certainly makes playing footsie a lot more fun (and believe me, when she’s wrapped up with 100 feet of rope and gagged, about all she can do is play footsie!).
