Our Core Values
Before we took our first picture for Brandi Bondage, I had written down four key or core values that would always be adhered to and respected without question. They are as follows:
1) No nudity in the photographs to be posted what so ever. This is about bondage as an art form, not nudity.
2) No sex or implied sex will be depicted in our photographs. Sexuality yes, but sex no.
3) No violence. Need I say more?
4) The protection of everyone’s anonymity. We respect each others privacy, it’s just common courtesy and good manners.
These four key values of course dictate what we can and cannot do during a photo shoot. No nudity means the models must be dressed. But dressed how and in what? Brandi and the girls spend a ton of time (and a few buckaroos let me tell you) on finding the appropriate clothing for a shoot. Street wear, fetish wear……….oohhhhhhhhhh the decisions.
As sex cannot be shown, the..um..ahhh..appliances are kept off the set and in some cases locked securely away. Can’t be too careful now can we? <G> No violence means no floggers, canes, whips, clamps or anything else that may be construed as painful. Sorry, that’s the way it has to be.
The hardest value to be faithful to is anonymity simply because the expressions of pure joy on the Brandi girls faces are hard to edit out. Hard because it’s a shame to do so. Talk about capturing the essence of what we do! Oh dear be still my beating heart.
Brandi and I have been tested on our core values on more than one occasion in the short time we have been in existence. Friendships have been put to the test because of our beliefs but others have been forged because of those very same beliefs.
There you have it, plain and simple.
